New Knowledgebase – Coming Soon!

Here at Wavestreaming we believe that you should receive the most helpful tools and resources to help you get your radio station perfectly streaming without hassle or confusion.
So we have started from scratch on a brand new, smooth looking Knowledgebase. The new knowledgebase is packed full with all the articles and information you could wish for which in turn, will assist you to start-up your station and conquer the more advanced steps which you usually would not try.

The knowledgebase will combine simple, plain English instructions with photographic references for you to understand and implement on your own station. We have set the articles out so you can perform the tasks while going through the articles using these easy step by step guides. We have everything from explaining what SHOUTcast entails to Setting up a Live Schedule with Cloud DJ. We will also be adding some cool tips and tricks which will help you understand and improve your radio station even further as your dwell into the more advanced steps and become an advanced user with just a few articles.

SHOUTcast with unlimited listeners?

We’ve been in the SHOUTcast hosting game for a *long* time. Since April 2004 infact, and we’re now one of the largest and fastest growing stream hosts for radio around, with thousands of stations using our products and services. Recently – we’ve seen numerous websites that claim to offer ‘unlimited’ listener slots – the purpose of this blog post is to expose these scams and hopefully prevent people from being ripped off or taken for a ride by such offers.

Lets put things into perspective here:

Lets say company A offers ‘unlimited listeners’ or ‘unlimited bandwidth’ for $50/month – this would suggest that you could have 100, 1000, 10000 or even a million listeners connected to your server at no extra cost? How about 10 million listeners? Thats what the advert says.

Support Hours Over Christmas

Wavestreaming – Christmas Operating Hours

We will be closing our Manchester office for the Christmas break at 5:30pm on Tuesday 20th December and normal business hours will resume on Wednesday 4th January to give our support and development team a well deserved break.

Technical support and sales will continue to operate on reduced capacity throughout the Christmas period via the ticket desk. If your query isn’t urgent, we may take a little longer than usual to respond and all administrative queries will be replied to when the office reopens in January.
