Job Opportunity: Part/Full Time Front End Web Developer & Designer in Manchester

We’re currently seeking to recruit a web designer and developer who has a keen eye for cutting edge clean design and experience in frontend development to work with our small team in Manchester city centre. The role will involve creating sales and marketing materials (web based) and also working with our in house development team to design and build our web-based products and services.

The position would suit someone who has experience in the industry, but students and graduates are also welcome as we would consider a part time employee for this role.

Applicants should have experience in the following areas:

  • Standards based web development using modern web technologies (HTML5 and CSS3)
  • Javascript (jQuery)
  • Experience designing graphic elements and UI for the web (Photoshop, Illustrator, Fireworks etc)
  • Usability & Accessibility
  • A great eye to create stunning masterpieces!
Additionally any combination of the following skills would be prefered, but are not essential:
  • Any backend development skills (PHP, MySQL etc)
  • Mobile development skills (iOS etc)
  • Adobe Flash / Flex / Air
  • WordPress
  • Experience with streaming media platforms (Eg. SHOUTcast)
  • Good communication skills with end user clients
