This is a very useful post about the request system.
Nice to see all the improvements in such a short period of time ! Keep it going that way !
Making possible to edit mix points for the audio files would be a major upgrade to the sound of the station. Cross fade time only option still doesn’t make the application sounding like a radio.
For now the only way to get around is trimming all the audio files or adding sillence to others and play around with the fade time option.The problem is that applies to all the files. It’s a good exercise to minimize the size of the files to send to the server !

Thanks – that makes sense and we now fully understand.
We could not find any ‘help pages’ regarding this issue or an FAQ data base to ask questions about this matter and when left in the dark one panics.

We have recently got a very talented designer onboard who is taking care of everything, you may have noticed the changes around Cloud DJ dashboard, he has also added some much needed improvements to the request widget

Hi,

The problem here is that you are using a single DJ account with multiple users, the idea is that you have an account per DJ (although we have not yet fully developed this part).
When the multiple DJs feature goes live then different DJs have different accounts (as it is intended to be used). You will also be able to set a priority on live events, that way DJ A will not be able to disrupt DJ B’s live stream (unless DJ A’s event has a higher priority).

I would start back at the ground again James – the system allows 2 or more djs to link to the live event stream which then gives you the output to your listeners of the cloud because it starts to broadcast the cloud auto dj. The original live show is messed up.
There is no fail safe that allows only ONE DJ to stream as a’ Live Event’ at any one time.
More testing needed.
When a Live Event timed schedule is given to a dj it should then not allow anyone else to try and start streaming.
